Applying and joining Referna are free. Paid plans give you more meeting tokens and higher daily limits, every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and you can pay monthly or annually. Here’s exactly how it works, since this is the question that comes up most before someone applies.
Plans are built on meeting tokens
A meeting token is what you spend to request a 1:1 meeting with another member. You get it back when you show up to the meeting, or right away if the other member declines, the request expires after 14 days, or you withdraw it. The only way to lose a token for good is to skip a meeting you booked. Your plan sets how many tokens you hold and how many requests and new matches you get each day. Accepting a meeting request is always free.

Badges add permanent tokens on top of any plan, so active members can grow their pool without upgrading. Daily limits reset at 4:00 AM your local time.
Monthly or annual billing
Annual billing costs 20% less than paying month to month. You pay once a year instead of every month, and everything else is identical: the same tokens, the same daily limits, and the same Circle seat on Max. Choose the billing period when you start your trial.
When billing actually starts
Starting a paid plan saves your card and begins a 7-day free trial. Nothing is charged that day. When the trial ends, your first monthly or annual charge goes through automatically. Cancel from settings before then and you are never charged.
Changing or canceling your plan
You can move to a higher plan at any time from the pricing page. During a trial, the new plan starts immediately and its price begins when the trial ends. After the trial, you pay only the prorated difference for the rest of your current billing period. Canceling from settings stops the next renewal, and your plan stays active until then.
Max and its Circle seat
Max includes one Circle seat: a standing weekly session with a curated group of complementary professionals. You don’t need an active Circle to start Max; you claim the included seat when one opens for your profession.
